Mid-week fixtures.

The mid-week fixtures are available for viewing. It’s all Thursday evenings and at one of three pitches:

– Parks
– Riverside
– Sports Center

It’s fantastic that so many of the squad are keen and interested in playing these evening games. These evening games are really fun and fast paced.

It’s a great opportunity for everyone to get more cricket under their belts and for the club to become stronger.

See you all at nets on Monday!

New Mid-Week League entered.

I am delighted to announce that we have entered a team into the Southampton Evening Cricket League and we will be called Knights Valley Vipers.

The games will be played on Thursday evenings at Southampton Sports Center or Doncaster Farm. Times and fixtures will be made available in due course.

It’s a great opportunity for us as it means more cricket for all squad members.

A thank you to Harry for emailing and calling the league guys, I look forward to seeing a mix of you on thursday evenings!

Come on the Vipers!!

Ian Goozee

Ian ‘goooozee’ Goozee

When you imagine the quintessential english amateur cricketer, you’d more than likely be thinking of Ian. The Goooozee, is a true gent and plays the game the right way. Always respectful to the opposition, Ian always has a good word to say about everyone and for anyone listening, a tip or two. A medium pace bowler, he is a master of cunning, with many subtle variations and has the talent of bowling very few extras. A red wine lover, Ian wears a damp cravat on hot days and he’s easy to spot……he’s the one wearing a red/pink sun hat, the very same hat he’s worn for the past 5 years, and he will be sat, looking very elegant, in his fold up chair.
